The ExtronDTP3 T 101 Dis a one-gang decorator-style transmitter for sending HDMI up to 330feet (100meters) over a shielded CAT6A cable. It supports video resolutions up to 4K/60 @ 4:4:4 and complies with HDCP2.3. For maximum image quality and minimal latency, all supported video resolutions are transported without compression. The wallplate transmitter includes many Extron technologies, such as EDIDMinderthat ensures the source powers up properly and reliably outputs content for display. Also, it can be remotely powered by a DTP3enabled product over the twisted pair connection, streamlining installation. The compact wall-mountable design of the DTP3T101D provides the convenience of placing an HDMI input connection precisely where it is needed.

The HDCP2.3-compliant DTP3T101D enables the reliable transmission of HDMI signals, supporting 18Gbps, HDR, Deep Color up to 12bit, 3D, and embedded HD lossless audio formats. In addition, DDC communication of EDID is continuously maintained between a source and display, ensuring direct compatibility and optimal signal transmission between devices. The transmitter is also compatible with a broad range of multi-channel audio signals, providing reliable operation with HDMI sources.

Features that Streamline Integration

The twisted pair transmitter provides other convenient, integrator-friendly features designed to help simplify installation. In addition to the capability of being remotely poweredover the shielded CAT6A cable, the DTP3T101D can be configured to provide power to a connected DTP3 receiver, allowing both devices to share one power supply. The DTP3 output can be configured for compatibility with HDBaseTenabled displays to send HDMI signals up to 330feet (100meters) over thesame twisted pair cable.

The DTP3T101Dmounts in an included one-gang decorator-style wallplate that fits a standard US onegang size junction box. The wallmountable form factor of the DTP3T101D allows for discreet placement in walls, lecterns, and floor boxes.

Extron recommends Extron-certified XTPDTP22 shielded twisted pair cable, shielded RJ45 plugs, jacks, and couplers engineered for optimum signal transmission with Extron DTPSeries products. The cable is certified to 475MHz and utilizes an SF/UTP design with four unshielded 22AWG twisted pair conductors inside an overall braid and foil shield for superior performance and noise immunity.
