The U-BRIDGE consists of two modules a PC HOST unit connected to the computer or CODEC, and a DEVICE unit connected to the USB camera or peripheral linked by a standard structured cabling run of CAT 5e/6/7. This architecture allows integrators to position cameras precisely where the room design requires without being constrained by USB cable length limits. The extender supports all USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices at speeds up to 480 Mbps, covering cameras, microphones, whiteboards, audio devices, and mass storage devices. Power is flexible: the AC adapter can be connected to either the HOST or DEVICE module depending on which end is more accessible in the installation. The U-BRIDGE delivers up to 1 Amp of power to the USB device port, supporting most conference room cameras without a separate power supply.
