Product Overview

The Audio-Technica AT690 Series 14-gauge speaker cable is a 6-foot 1/4-inch male to 1/4-inch male interconnect built for amplifier-to-loudspeaker connections in live sound and commercial AV systems. Engineered for maximum power transfer with minimum loss, this 1/4 inch speaker cable links power amplifiers to passive loudspeakers and stage monitors. Its heavy-gauge copper conductors and professional connectors suit portable PA rigs, rehearsal rooms, and fixed installations. As a durable speaker cable for live sound, it delivers reliable signal integrity in demanding production environments.

Product Description

The AT690 uses heavy-duty 14-gauge cable to carry amplifier output to passive loudspeakers with maximum power transfer and minimal signal loss. Professional high-quality connectors provide superior signal integrity and outstanding strain relief, reducing the intermittent contact and connector fatigue that plague lighter-duty patch cables. A durable PVC jacket stands up to repeated coiling, foot traffic, and the rigors of touring use, while extra flexibility makes the cable easy to route and store. The 6-foot length is well suited to amp rack to cabinet runs, monitor wedges placed near the stack, and short interconnections within a portable PA system. Both ends terminate in standard 1/4-inch phone plugs, matching the speaker inputs common on powered and passive cabinets across live sound and commercial installations. AV integrators value the AT690 as a dependable, cost-effective option for outfitting equipment racks and rental inventories. The cable is part of the broader AT690 series, which is offered in multiple lengths for flexible system design. You can review related speaker cables and AV interconnects at Creation Networks. For installers standardizing on reliable connectors, the AT690 is a sound choice for everyday amplifier-to-speaker wiring.
