The JBL MTC-24MR is a mud ring construction bracket for Control 24C series ceiling loudspeakers, used to pre-frame the speaker opening during drywall installation. It is sold in 6-packs for larger projects.
The mud ring mounts to framing before drywall, establishing a clean, correctly sized opening for the Control 24C so the speaker drops in after the ceiling is finished. For the ceiling speakers it supports, browse the JBL Professional Installed Audio collection.
