Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic 5-RS20 is a 20-inch bottom runner set for the Slim5 integrated rack series, enabling the rack to slide smoothly in and out of credenzas, lecterns, and furniture millwork openings. The low-friction, wear-resistant material protects furniture surfaces while allowing a fully loaded Slim5 rack to be pulled forward for equipment access and pushed back into the cabinet when not in use. At just 0.25 inches in height, the runners add minimal clearance between the rack base and cabinet floor.

Product Description

The 5-RS20 bottom runner set is designed specifically for the Middle Atlantic Slim5 compact rack series used in furniture-integrated AV installations. Credenzas, lecterns, and custom millwork cabinets often require the rack to be accessible from the front while remaining concealed inside the furniture when in use. The low-friction runner material allows the Slim5 to slide in and out of these tight spaces without binding, scratching the furniture interior, or requiring excessive force. At 20 inches deep and 1.5 inches wide, the runners match the Slim5 footprint and provide stable lateral support along the full depth of the cabinet opening. The 0.25-inch height profile means the rack sits nearly flush with the cabinet floor, maintaining the space-saving profile that makes the Slim5 practical for furniture integration. Package weight is 0.9 lbs, confirming the lightweight construction that avoids adding unnecessary load to the furniture structure.
