Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic BGR-LVT9 is a 9-space vented top panel designed for the BGR Series rack enclosure. Measuring 21 inches wide to fit the BGR Series top opening, this panel promotes passive cooling by allowing warm air to exit through the vented surface without requiring an active fan system. The BGR-LVT9 is the appropriate top panel choice when passive thermal management is sufficient for the equipment load housed in the BGR enclosure.

Product Description

The BGR-LVT9 Large Vented Top Panel from Middle Atlantic Products is engineered for the BGR Series rack enclosure line, providing passive ventilation at the top of the rack where warm air naturally accumulates. Passive cooling is the simplest and most reliable thermal management strategy for rack systems with moderate heat loads, as it operates without moving parts, noise, or additional power consumption. The vented panel allows heat to escape through convection, drawing cooler air through any bottom or front ventilation openings in the enclosure and exhausting warm air through the top. The 21-inch width is sized specifically for the BGR Series top opening, ensuring a precise fit without gaps or misalignment. This panel is the correct selection for BGR enclosures where the installed equipment’s combined heat output does not require forced-air cooling. For higher heat loads, Middle Atlantic offers fan panel accessories that can be used in place of or in addition to vented panels. The BGR-LVT9 maintains the clean appearance of the BGR enclosure while providing functional passive airflow management.
