The IS3.8P is part of Ashly’s IS Series slim, high-output column arrays engineered for venues where speech intelligibility and aesthetic discretion both matter. The eight 3″ neodymium transducers are arranged in a linear column array that produces ultra-wide horizontal dispersion (170) paired with controlled vertical directivity (25), directing sound where audiences are rather than toward reflective ceilings and floors. This focused pattern control yields consistent SPL from the front to the back of the room, reducing flutter echo and reverberation a significant advantage in hard-surfaced commercial spaces such as airport terminals, lobbies, and multipurpose auditoriums.

The durable, chip-resistant polymer-coated all-metal enclosure is built for permanent installation as well as portable use. The dual-impedance switch (8 / 32 ) eliminates the need for external transformers in distributed systems with multiple speakers per amplifier channel. Two IS3.8P units can be stacked vertically using the optional ISJP2B joining plate to extend throw for larger venues. The speaker ships with flush wall-mount brackets included; pole, tripod, and tilt wall mounts are available as optional accessories.
