Product Overview

The Black Box C6PC28-BK-07 is a 7-foot black CAT6 slim patch cable with 28AWG conductors rated at 250MHz for Gigabit Ethernet and PoE applications. The slim construction reduces cable bundle diameter for improved density and airflow in commercial AV and IT patch panel environments, making it a practical choice for high-count patch fields in equipment racks and telecommunications rooms.

Product Description

This 28AWG slim CAT6 patch cable supports Gigabit Ethernet and PoE at 250MHz with a reduced outer jacket diameter compared to standard 24AWG CAT6. The slim design is particularly advantageous in high-density patch environments where airflow management and cable tray capacity are factors. Snagless boot construction protects the RJ-45 latch in dense patch panel use. The CM-rated UTP jacket is suitable for in-building commercial use. At 7 feet, this cable works for mid-length cross-connects in standard commercial racks where the 15-foot option would be excessive.
