Key Specs

• Bidirectional optical SFP module
• Adds 6G-SDI over optical fiber
• Extends transmission distance vs copper
• Fits compatible Blackmagic SFP cages
• Single LC fiber connection

Product Description

This adapter enables 6G-SDI video signals to be sent over optical fiber, significantly extending the transmission distance while maintaining signal integrity. Ideal for large studios or live event environments where cable runs exceed the limits of copper SDI. However, if your setup doesnt require long-distance cabling or fiber infrastructure, this may be an unnecessary expense.

Features

• Converts 6G-SDI copper signals to optical fiber and vice versa

• Supports high-bandwidth 6G-SDI signals up to 1080p60

• Enables long-distance transmission beyond copper cable limits

• Compact and rugged design for professional environments

• Compatible with standard SDI and fiber optic equipment
