Product Overview

The Gator GFW-MIC-QRTOP is a quick-release microphone attachment that mounts to any 5/8″-threaded microphone stand. An easy-to-use clutch release lets an operator attach or remove a microphone clip or boom arm in seconds, and a red safety collar indicates when the quick release is not fully engaged. The compact, durable design suits broadcast, podcast, and live applications where microphones change frequently. This quick-release adapter pairs with the GFW-MIC-QRINSERT5 inserts for multi-microphone setups.

Product Description

The GFW-MIC-QRTOP quick release microphone attachment threads onto any standard 5/8″-27 microphone stand and converts it into a fast-change mounting point. Using a paired adapter insert, an engineer can attach or release a microphone clip or boom arm with a single clutch action instead of unscrewing threaded hardware. A red safety collar gives a clear visual cue when the quick release is not fully engaged, reducing the risk of a microphone dropping mid-session. The ergonomic, compact body keeps the assembly low-profile on stage or at a podcast desk, and durable construction holds up to repeated changeovers in installed and touring rigs. The QR-TOP works with the matching insert system, so equip your microphones with the Gator GFW-MIC-QRINSERT5 5-Pack Adapter Inserts to swap capsules quickly, and browse more hardware in the Gator collection. For studios and broadcast suites that rotate microphones throughout a session, this quick-release attachment removes a common setup bottleneck.
