Product Overview

The Kramer WP-571/US(W) is a US-format white wall plate HDMI transmitter that extends HDCP 2.2 HDMI signals over PoC Long-Reach DGKat twisted pair cabling. It functions as the source-end input station in a Kramer DGKat signal extension system, accepting HDMI input from a presenters laptop or source device and transmitting it over Cat cable to a compatible DGKat receiver at the display. The white finish and US 1-gang form factor provide a clean, unobtrusive installation in conference rooms, classrooms, and corporate spaces.

Product Description

Paired with the Kramer WP-572 or compatible DGKat receiver, the WP-571/US(W) delivers a complete wall plate-to-wall plate HDMI extension system over Cat 5e or Cat 6 infrastructure. The Long-Reach DGKat technology extends the signal well beyond standard HDMI passive cable limits, making it suitable for permanent installation in medium-to-large conference rooms and classrooms. Power over Cable (PoC) eliminates the local power supply requirement at the wall plate, reducing installation complexity and cabling at the source location. HDCP 2.2 ensures compatibility with protected 4K sources and modern HDMI 2.0 signal chains. This white variant complements standard commercial decor and pairs with white Decora-style electrical plates.
