The MaxHub UC M40 is a 360-degree conference room camera designed for small to medium meeting spaces that need full-room coverage from a single device. With four lenses delivering a panoramic field of view and AI-powered speaker tracking, this all-in-one USB conference camera eliminates blind spots and keeps remote participants focused on whoever is speaking. As a plug-and-play 360 conference camera with integrated microphones and speaker, the UC M40 is a compact, self-contained solution for huddle rooms, small conference rooms, and multipurpose spaces requiring a reliable video conferencing camera without additional peripherals.
The MaxHub UC M40 packages four separate lenses into a cylindrical tower that sits on the conference table and delivers simultaneous 360-degree panoramic coverage. Each lens captures a 140-degree diagonal field of view, and the combined output is stitched into a single 4K-quality stream. The built-in 4-array omnidirectional microphone array picks up voices from up to 5 meters in any direction, feeding the built-in speaker and the USB audio path simultaneously. AI speaker tracking uses dual-direction voice localization to identify and highlight the active speaker in real time, reducing the need for manual camera adjustments during meetings.
Setup requires only a USB-C connection to a host computer no drivers, no configuration software, and no external power brick needed for most deployments. The single Mode button on top toggles between video layout options, and a dedicated LED ring provides visual voice-location feedback so participants always know the microphone is active and tracking. The UC M40 is certified for use with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco Webex, and other major platforms over a standard UVC 1.1 interface.
For rooms that need a traditional PTZ camera rather than omnidirectional coverage, consider the MaxHub UC P10 PTZ Camera or the MaxHub UC P25 4K PTZ Camera. Browse the full MaxHub collection at Creation Networks for the complete camera and collaboration lineup.
