Product Description

The 5-RS23 bottom runner kit is engineered for AV integrators who need to mount rack systems inside furniture cabinetry while maintaining the ability to slide the rack for maintenance and cable management access. The low-friction runner design allows a loaded rack to move in and out of a furniture opening without binding, reducing the physical effort required during service calls and upgrades. At 23 inches deep, this runner kit fits a common furniture depth specification and is compatible with Middle Atlantic’s Slim5 integrated rack series. Each runner measures 1.5 inches wide, providing a stable base contact point for the rack enclosure. The kit is UL-rated for 250 lbs (113.4 kg), making it appropriate for fully populated AV racks with amplifiers, processors, and signal distribution equipment. The runners mount to the bottom of the furniture or floor opening and accept the corresponding rack feet or base hardware. This accessory is a standard component in custom AV furniture builds where in-cabinet rack integration is specified.
