Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic FWD-DWR-RR46 is a 46 rack unit Forward rear rack rail pair for DWR and SR Series wall racks. The rails feature square mounting holes that accept Middle Atlantic Forward panels, vents, and cable management with a tool-free click-in connection, eliminating rack screws for those accessories. Integrated lacing points along the inside of each rail give installers ready-made tie-off locations for clean cable routing inside the enclosure.

Product Description

Rack rail hardware is one of the slowest parts of trimming out a wall rack: every blank, vent, and lacer strip traditionally needs four screws, and rear-of-rack work inside a wall cabinet is awkward at best. The FWD-DWR-RR46 Forward rack rail kit changes that workflow for 46-space DWR and SR Series installations. Each rail in the pair carries square holes engineered for the Forward accessory ecosystem, so compatible panels, vents, and cable management click directly into place without any rack screws. The result is measurably faster rack trim-out and easier mid-project changes, since accessories snap out as quickly as they snap in. Along the inside face of the rail, formed cable lacing features provide consistent anchor points for running interconnections vertically through the rack, replacing improvised tie-off points and adhesive anchors. The kit installs as a rear rack rail set in DWR pivoting wall racks and SR Series wall racks, adding a second mounting plane for connectivity, power, and cable management behind the equipment rails. For shallower enclosures, the Forward rail family is also offered in other rack unit heights; this version is sized for 46-space frames and is supplied as a pair.
