This door is an ideal upgrade for integrators who want to combine secure enclosure access with visual equipment status monitoring.

Product Description

The RK-GD14 glass door is part of Middle Atlantic’s rack door accessory line, designed to fit BRK and OBRK laminate series rack enclosures at the 14-space height. Tempered glass provides safe, break-resistant performance in professional rack environments while enabling equipment LED and status light visibility without requiring the door to be opened. This is particularly useful in control rooms, NOCs, and managed equipment rooms where technicians need to monitor equipment status at a glance. The door integrates directly with BRK and OBRK enclosure frames using Middle Atlantic’s standard door mounting hardware, maintaining the structural integrity and security of the enclosure. The laminate rack compatibility ensures the door matches the finished appearance of the enclosure line, delivering a cohesive look in client-facing or executive environments. Installation follows Middle Atlantic’s standard door replacement procedure and requires no special tooling beyond standard hand tools. The RK-GD14 is commonly specified when upgrading existing solid door enclosures or when specifying new BRK/OBRK racks in locations where visual monitoring is prioritized. This door is a direct-fit accessory that does not require enclosure modification.
