Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic RK-RAP12-MP is a 12-space locking rear access panel with a maple (MP) finish that matches DTRK racks. It encloses the back of compatible Middle Atlantic laminate racks while a brush cable entry maintains a clean pass-through for power and signal wiring. The locking design protects connections and equipment from tampering in offices, classrooms, and other shared spaces. It is the finish-matched rear panel choice for installations built around maple DTRK furniture racks.

Product Description

Rear access panels solve a recurring problem in furniture-style rack installations: the back of the rack is often exposed to occupants, cleaning staff, and curious hands. The RK-RAP12-MP closes off the rear of a 12-space laminate rack with a locking panel, so integrators can secure power connections, network terminations, and source wiring after commissioning. The built-in brush cable entry passes cabling through the panel while limiting dust intrusion and preserving the enclosure’s finished appearance. Service technicians retain full rear access for moves, adds, and changes simply by unlocking and removing the panel, which keeps maintenance fast without leaving the rack permanently open. The maple finish is matched to Middle Atlantic DTRK racks, allowing the rear of the installation to blend with surrounding millwork and casegoods in conference rooms, classrooms, hospitality suites, and executive offices. Specifying the rear access panel at the design stage simplifies commercial deployment by giving the project a tamper-resistant, code-friendly cable path from day one. The panel belongs to Middle Atlantic’s RAP family of rear access panels for laminate rack enclosures, so sizing options exist across rack heights when projects scale. Pair it with racks, blank panels, and fan kits from the Middle Atlantic collection at Creation Networks.
