Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic RK-RAP8-MP is a locking 8-space rear access panel with an integrated brush cable entry, finished in maple to match DTRK desktop racks. It closes off the back of an 8-space RK-series laminate rack while still allowing cables to pass cleanly through the brush grommet, combining security, finished appearance, and serviceability in one panel.

Product Description

Laminate racks placed in offices, conference rooms, and home studios are furniture as much as they are equipment housings, and an open rear panel undermines both the look and the security of the installation. The RK-RAP8-MP rear access panel from Middle Atlantic resolves this for 8-space racks. The panel locks in place, deterring tampering with rear connections and power while keeping curious hands away from cabling. A brush cable entry along the panel lets signal and power runs exit the rack neatly; the dense brush closes around the bundle to maintain a tidy appearance. The maple finish matches Middle Atlantic’s DTRK desktop racks, so the rear of the rack presents as finished furniture from every angle, an important detail when a credenza or desk rack is visible in the room. When deeper service is required, the panel provides straightforward rear access rather than forcing disassembly of the rack. The companion RK-RAP12-MP covers 12-space racks in the same maple finish.
