Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic SNE-CASTER Kit provides four swivel casters and all required mounting hardware for SNE Series rack enclosures. Adding the caster kit raises the enclosure by 1.44 inches and allows the rack to be rolled freely on smooth floor surfaces, making repositioning and service access substantially easier. The SNE-CASTER is an essential mobility accessory for SNE enclosures deployed in facilities where rack placement is not permanently fixed.

Product Description

The SNE-CASTER Kit from Middle Atlantic Products is designed specifically for the SNE Series rack enclosure line, providing a purpose-fit mobility solution that maintains the structural integrity of the enclosure. Each kit includes four swivel casters and all associated mounting hardware, ensuring the installer has everything needed for a complete installation. The swivel design of all four casters allows the enclosure to be maneuvered in any direction, which is particularly useful in tight equipment rooms or during multi-rack repositioning. When installed, the casters add 1.44 inches to the overall enclosure height, a factor that should be considered when calculating total rack height clearance. The SNE Series enclosures are commonly found in broadcast facilities, production environments, and permanent AV installations, and the caster kit supports those deployments where periodic access behind or beside the rack is required. All casters are constructed to support the weight of a fully loaded SNE enclosure, maintaining stability during normal use while allowing controlled movement when needed.
