Product Description

The U317 rackshelf provides 3 rack spaces of mounting area at 17.75 inches of depth, accommodating most standard AV components that do not have rack-mountable ears. Welded steel construction gives the shelf rigidity to hold up to 60 pounds without flexing, appropriate for amplifiers, media players, and signal processing equipment. The partially vented shelf surface allows airflow through the bottom of the shelf to reach components, which is particularly useful in enclosed rack systems. The rear flange with horizontal cable management slots keeps rear cable connections organized, preventing loose cable loops that can obstruct service access or become caught in other equipment. The black powder coat finish is durable and matches Middle Atlantic rack aesthetics throughout the product line. At 17.75 inches depth, the U317 fits most standard Middle Atlantic rack enclosures with adequate rear clearance.
