Product Description

The U4 rackshelf is a standard 4U open shelf for mounting AV components, media players, control systems, and similar equipment in standard 19-inch rack enclosures. At 15.5 inches deep, it accommodates most mid-depth consumer and prosumer AV components. Welded steel construction with black powder coat finish provides the rigidity and durability expected in a professional AV rack accessory. The U4 is the direct solid-bottom companion to the U4V vented shelf, and the correct choice when bottom ventilation is not needed or when a solid shelf surface is preferred for stability. For AV integrators populating rack enclosures with components that do not have standard rack ears, the U4 provides a clean, professional mounting platform.
