Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic UFAF-2 is a 2-space (2U) faceplate panel for the UFA Series Universal Face-After shelf system. UFA Series shelves are designed to hold small, non-rack-mount devices in the front or rear of a rack enclosure while providing cable management and device tie-down points. The UFAF-2 faceplate is designed to mount after the shelf is installed and populated, creating an attractive and secure covering over the shelf contents. The black powder coat finish provides a clean, professional appearance.

Product Description

The Middle Atlantic UFAF-2 is the 2U faceplate panel for Middle Atlantic UFA Series Universal Face-After shelves. UFA shelves allow integrators to mount small devices, power adapters, control hardware, and similar equipment conveniently within a rack enclosure without requiring a standard 1U or 2U device footprint. The unique feature of the UFA Series is that the faceplate is installed after the shelf has been populated, allowing the shelf contents to be arranged and secured before closing the front face. The UFAF-2 panel provides that covering for 2U UFA assemblies, giving the rack a clean, finished appearance once devices are in place. The black powder coat finish is consistent with Middle Atlantic rack accessories. The UFAF-2 is appropriate for any installation using Middle Atlantic UFA Series shelves where a 2U faceplate is needed.
