Its coaxial driver places a 12-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch voice-coil compression driver (SSC12-1) on a common axis, producing 80 degrees by 80 degrees constant-directivity coverage with a 33-degree monitor angle suited to floor-wedge use. As a passive loudspeaker it includes a high-quality crossover network rated at 300 W AES and 600 W program at 8 ohms, and the crossover can be bypassed with an internal jumper for bi-amplified operation, with the low-frequency section handling 300 W AES and the high-frequency section 60 W AES.
