Product Overview

The Renkus-Heinz UBX4 is the most compact passive UniBeam column in the UBX Series, bringing the company’s beam-steering pedigree to constant-voltage distributed systems. Using Passive UniBeam technology, it delivers precise coverage and high intelligibility in a discreet, slim column ideal for smaller rooms and architecturally sensitive installs such as conference rooms, houses of worship, and commercial meeting spaces.

Product Description

Passive UniBeam technology addresses each transducer with specially designed all-pass filter networks, gain shading, and additional frequency filtering to generate an asymmetrical vertical dispersion with constant directivity, delivering consistent front-to-back coverage with minimal side-lobe artifacts. State-of-the-art 3-inch neodymium full-range drivers allow an exceptionally small footprint, and the narrow cabinet mounts plumb to the wall with the included bracket for minimal architectural intrusion. With EN 54-24 certification the UBX4 meets the EU’s stringent standards for life-safety voice-alarm systems, and it ships weather resistant to IP64 with a gland-nut-protected input cover. High-quality audio transformers support 70V/100V constant-voltage operation in distributed systems.
