Product Overview

The Tripp Lite P568-030-BK-GRP is a 30-foot high-speed HDMI cable with gripping connectors designed for commercial AV, home theater, and digital signage installations requiring a long-run HDMI connection with secure port retention. Supporting UHD video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) and multi-channel uncompressed digital audio over a single cable, this 4K HDMI cable provides the reach needed to connect source equipment to displays that are positioned across a room or in hard-to-access locations. The specially engineered gripping connectors increase port retention beyond standard HDMI plugs, resisting accidental disconnection from vibration or incidental contact in permanent installations.

Product Description

This HDMI cable connects HDMI-equipped source devicesincluding computers, Blu-ray players, streaming media players, gaming consoles, cable boxes, and satellite receiversto HDTVs, HD monitors, projectors, and AV receivers. The 30-foot length provides flexibility in placing source and display equipment without co-location, which is practical in conference rooms, boardrooms, entertainment spaces, and AV installations where equipment racks are positioned away from the display.

The gripping connectors are engineered with additional port retention force compared to standard HDMI plugs. Once inserted, they hold securely in HDMI ports and resist the vibrations and incidental movement that can cause standard connectors to loosen over time. This is particularly relevant in installations where the cable runs behind walls, through conduit, or in ceiling spaces where the connection points are not easily accessible for regular inspection. The gripping connectors are compatible with any full-size HDMI port.

The cable carries uncompressed digital video up to 4K (3840 x 2160) and is backward compatible with lower-resolution HDMI components. Double shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference that can cause signal degradation over long cable runs. Gold-plated contacts and connectors resist oxidation and corrosion, maintaining low-resistance contact over the service life of the cable. Tripp Lite backs this cable with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
