Product Overview

The Williams AV CCS 053 is a heavy-duty 120-slot carry case for transporting large assistive listening receiver fleets between venues. Two 60-slot foam inserts one lower, one top organize Digi-Wave, FM, and IR body-pack units for conference interpretation systems, tour guide operations, and rental inventory. Bottom wheels and an extendable handle make it a true rolling transport case for high-count deployments, and the rugged shell is built for overseas shipping. The CCS 053 replaces the discontinued CCS 048.

Product Description

When an event calls for a hundred or more assistive listening receivers, loose bins and undersized cases slow down distribution and put equipment at risk. The CCS 053 solves both problems with a 60-slot lower foam insert and a 60-slot top insert, giving 120 dedicated slots in a single case. Each slot accepts one Williams Sound PPA transmitter or receiver, or two Digi-Wave devices, so a fully packed case can move up to 240 Digi-Wave transceivers and receivers for large interpretation and tour guide systems. The case is compatible with all Williams Sound body-pack transmitters and receivers across the Digi-Wave, FM, and IR lines.

The heavy-duty shell protects equipment through conference logistics, rental turnaround, and overseas air freight, while the extendable handle and bottom wheels let one technician roll the loaded case through convention centers and loading docks. Slotted foam also doubles as an inventory tool: empty slots are visible at a glance during event check-in and return. Replacement parts the CCS 052 case shell and FMP 048 foam set keep the case in service for years. If your kit includes chargers and accessories that need open storage, consider the companion CCS 054 60-slot case with accessory tray, or browse the complete Williams AV collection at Creation Networks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which devices are compatible with the CCS 053?

The CCS 053 fits all Williams Sound body-pack transmitters and receivers, including Digi-Wave DLT transceivers and DLR receivers, FM body-pack receivers, and IR body-pack receivers.

How many devices can the CCS 053 hold?

The case provides 120 slots across two 60-slot inserts. Each slot holds one PPA-format transmitter or receiver, or two Digi-Wave devices, for a maximum of 240 Digi-Wave units.

Should I choose the CCS 053 or the CCS 054?

Choose the CCS 053 when you need maximum receiver capacity in slotted foam. Choose the CCS 054 when you need 60 slots plus an open-bay tray for chargers, microphones, and cabling in the same case.

Is the CCS 053 suitable for shipping equipment internationally?

Yes. The heavy-duty shell is designed for conference touring and overseas shipping, and the slotted foam isolates each device from impact and vibration in transit.

Can the foam or shell be replaced?

Yes. Williams AV offers the CCS 052 replacement case shell and FMP 048 replacement foam set, so heavy rental or touring use does not retire the case.

What warranty does the CCS 053 carry?

The CCS 053 is covered by a 90-day Williams AV warranty. Creation Networks can assist with warranty support and replacement part orders.
