The Digi-Wave 400 Series is a digital spread-spectrum (DSS), simultaneous two-way wireless communication system. It makes hearing easier in everyday situations by reducing background noise and compensating for poor room acoustics or distance from the sound source the core problem in classrooms, courtrooms, hospitals, and meeting spaces. The frequency-hopping algorithm avoids interference from Wi-Fi and other 2.4 GHz devices, and optional 87+128-bit encryption with a PIN code and settings lock secures the link where privacy matters.

The talker’s DLT 400 transceiver accepts the included lapel microphone through its 3.5 mm mic input (or uses its built-in mic), while the listener’s DLR 400 RCH receiver drives the included EAR 041 isolation earphone, a neckloop for hearing aid telecoil users, or other 3.5 mm listening accessories. Both units run on internal lithium polymer batteries up to 16 hours of talk time on the transceiver and up to 32 hours of listening on the receiver and recharge over USB-C in roughly five hours using the included power kit.
