The Williams AV STD 008 is a TV top shelf for the IR T1 SoundPlus small-area infrared transmitter. It rests on top of a television or monitor and supports the transmitter with a front padded lip and an adjustable rear arm with swivel lock, putting the IR emitter at an ideal height with line-of-sight to viewers. Built from painted steel in flat black, it blends into TV-based assistive listening setups in patient rooms, lounges, and small viewing areas. Monitor and IR T1 are not included.

The IR T1 is commonly used to deliver TV audio to infrared assistive listening receivers in healthcare facilities, senior living common rooms, and home or hospitality viewing areas. The transmitter works best positioned near the screen, facing the viewers exactly where the STD 008 places it. The shelf’s front padded lip rests on the top edge of the TV without scratching the bezel, while the adjustable rear arm with swivel lock supports the back of the shelf and adapts to different cabinet depths and angles.

The 6-inch-wide by 4.75-inch-deep painted-steel shelf weighs just 0.6 pounds and presents a low-profile, flat-black finish that disappears against most displays.
