Product Overview

The Williams Sound HED 021 is a monaural folding headphone for adult users, designed for use with FM and IR assistive listening receivers. With a 32-ohm impedance, 3.5mm mono plug, and a rated mild and low gain hearing loss classification, the HED 021 is appropriate for users who need moderate audio amplification in conference rooms, houses of worship, courtrooms, and educational facilities. The folding design allows compact storage in carry cases between sessions. Replacement ear pads (HED 023 or HED 023-100) are available to maintain hygiene in multi-user deployments.

Product Description

The HED 021 mono folding headphones deliver a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz with 110dB sensitivity at 1kHz, providing clear voice intelligibility for assistive listening applications. The single-channel mono configuration makes the HED 021 appropriate for FM receiver outputs and systems where a mono audio signal is used for hearing assistance. The 30mm driver produces accurate mid-range reproduction suited to speech clarity, which is the primary requirement of hearing loop and FM assistive listening systems. At 52 grams, the headphone is lightweight for extended wear, and the folding hinge reduces its footprint when stored in a CCS carry case or venue equipment drawer. The 39-inch cord connects via a 3.5mm mono plug to Williams Sound FM and select IR receivers. Replacement ear pads are available as HED 023 (one pair) for ongoing hygiene maintenance in shared-use environments.
