The stand features two-section metal tubing with a 3-piece clutch mechanism for quick, tool-free vertical height adjustment across its 19″ to 30″ range. Three low-profile metal legs with cup terminations provide a stable base spread of 25″ (653mm), reducing the risk of tipping on stage or studio floors. The threaded 5/8″-27 top end accepts a lock-nut ring for secure positioning of microphone clips, shock mounts, or extension booms. All metal construction gives this stand the durability needed for nightly touring and repeated studio sessions. The non-reflective ebony powder coat finish prevents glare under stage lighting.
